TRIO Upward Bound Program
Torey Cohen-Boseman is the graduate hourly student for the Upward Bound Program. In this role, he assists with all clerical and non-clerical work. He has nearly 15 years of experience working with at-risk youth, first generation, low-income, and disabled youth. He uses his personal experiences and education to efficiently and effectively help those in need. He is currently seeking a PhD in Criminology, Law, and Justice from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He recently received his Masters in Public Administration with a concentration on Financial Management from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Before he began his education at the University of Illinois at Chicago, he received a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Tennessee State University and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Special Education from Fisk University.
Torey is originally from Nashville, Tennessee. He enjoys weightlifting, traveling, and creating great memories with his wife.
